Formerly based in Warsaw, Poland with Look Model Management Monika Spruch received award “Model of the Year 1999” in Poland and two awards “Mademoiselle Mannequin” Elite Club Award in 1999 and 2000.
She decided to move to Los Angeles, CA and signed her first contract with OTTO Models agency located on Sunset Blvd. In 2001 Monika joined Actors Studio in Hollywood called ‘Ivan Markota Acting School’. Getting general knowledge about acting and commercials helped her to understand the business and get into acting. Her first acting experience was the movie “Heart of Stone” opposite Angie Everheart, which made her a SAG member.
She has been a SAG member since 2002. She appeared on hit TV series “Star Trek Enterprise” as a regular Starfleet and Stand in for Jolene Blablock in 2003 and she stayed to the end of the show in 2005. Monika’s unique beauty has graced the runways, magazines and televisions of Europe and in Los Angeles she appeared on the runway for DKNY, David Cordona, David Rodriguez, Estevan Ramos, Daniel Cantu & Castillo, Elizabetha Rogiani, Eva Varro, Ulrike Couture, Marvyn’s and in print campaigns for Lingerie Bowl, Rider Jeans, M. Millien underwear for Fred Segal, Bio Ionic hair care, San Diego Style Weddings, Electric Barbarella, Monte Carlo Leather, Oro King Jewelry and Malibu Beach beverage.
In the meantime Monika showed her interest in music: piano, guitar and singing. She loves to listen to the classics like Frank Sinatra.
